Trailer wiring / fuses 2019+ Ford Ranger and Raptor Forum (5th Generation)
Post by oli onMay 1, 2020 at 2:42am. I got a new (to me) 2017 Ford Ranger Wildtrak just before lockdown started. Recently the indicators started to blink fast, suggesting a bulb failure but the bulbs are fine and it's also showing a trailer icon on the reversing camera, as well as changing the view, as it would if you were towing a trailer.

Aug 7, 2022 Thread starter #1 UPDATE: 10/22 Trailer running lights issue was solved by replacing # 25 fuse, located in slot 71 in the lower fuse box, under the hood. There seems to be a confusing info on here about the factory installed tow packages TRailer Module. The trailer power connector still has a fuse that can blow.

Re: PX2 Trailer tow module installation. by Spook » Sat Feb 25, 2017 11:56 pm. I have installed one in my previous mk1 PX XL Ranger. You dont need to remove the seat or cut the carpet. Its a 10 minute job. Im pretty sure if you find someone with Forscan they will be able to activate the module for you and save you some money.

Brake and turn use the same bulb in 2003, so you should have turn signals as well. In 2003 the left and right turn/brake signals each have separate fuse to feed trailer light connector. Fuses 3 and 7 in cab fuse box, just FYI. But the tail lights in trailer connector is just spliced into the Brown wire at rear of vehicle.
